Hot liquids absorb into fabric incredibly fast and can burn you in just seconds. We developed a micro technology that actually disperses and repels heat from hot oil, hot liquids, steam and even cryogenic fluids allowing protection at a time when every second counts. In an accident situation, our Microlok technology applied to our MicroCool Apron, thermally protects within the range of +2,800F to a minus -350F. This new technology belongs on anyone that subjects themselves to the temperatures associated with cooking, welding, steam and cryogenic liquids in the home or in commercial applications. The MicroCool Apron with our MicroLok thermal technology was recently introduced to the world on Kickstarter. We had high hopes that our revolutionary safety fabric for the backyard chef and cooking enthusiast would be well received, and it was!
